The Allen-Bradley 5069-FPD is a Compact 5000 field potential distributor. It starts a new SA power bus in a Compact 5000 system, for example to separate AC-type and DC-type I/O modules or to add field power when the modules draw more than 10 A. Compact GuardLogix 5380 controllers do not supply AC SA power, so a 5069-FPD must sit between the controller and any AC module. Its wiring connects through a 5069-RTB6-SCREW or 5069-RTB6-SPRING terminal block, ordered separately.
