The Allen-Bradley 1756-OX8I is a ControlLogix AC (10…240V) DC (5…125V) isolated contact module for the 1756 chassis. It has eight normally closed, individually isolated relay contacts, two points per group, for loads of 10…240V AC or 5…125V DC (1 A at 5…30V DC, 0.5 A at 48V DC). It draws 100 mA at 5.1V DC and 100 mA at 24V DC from the backplane. Field wiring goes through a 1756-TBCH or 1756-TBS6H removable terminal block, which is ordered separately. ControlLogix I/O modules can sit in any slot of a local ControlLogix chassis or in a remote chassis linked over EtherNet/IP or ControlNet, and their input data and output status can be shared by more than one controller.
