The Allen-Bradley 1747-AIC is the panel-mounted isolated link coupler that connects SLC 5/01, SLC 5/02 and SLC 5/03 processors to a DH-485 network, one coupler per processor. A coupler is needed at each end when a device is more than 6.09 m (20 ft) from the processor. A 1747-C11 processor cable is included, and the coupler draws 85 mA at 24V DC.
