The ABB PM511V08 is a PM511 processor module. It is the CPU board of the Advant Controller 450, a high-end process controller of Advant OCS with Master software that is programmed graphically in AMPL. Up to two PM511 boards can be fitted for hot standby CPU redundancy with bumpless changeover in less than 25 ms. The AC 450 data sheet gives 8 or 16 MB primary memory (approx. 5,4 or 13,4 MB available for the application); confirm the memory of this variant on the board label.
