The SMC VQZ242R-5M1-C6 is a VQZ200 series 3-port solenoid valve, body ported, 15 mm wide, normally open with a rubber seal and an external pilot. It has a 24 VDC coil with an M-type plug connector with lead wire and light/surge voltage suppressor, a non-locking push manual override and a 6 mm One-touch fitting on the 2(A) port. With the external pilot it handles operating pressures from –100 kPa to 0.7 MPa, with 0.15 to 0.7 MPa on the pilot. Flow from P to A is C 1.6 dm3/(s·bar) (Cv 0.40) and the standard 0.35 W coil responds in 22 ms or less.
