The OMRON EE-SPW321 is a pre-wired through-beam photomicrosensor with a slim separate amplifier, in the Dark-ON version with an NPN output. It senses opaque objects of 2 mm dia. min. at up to 300 mm with an infrared LED (940 nm), and has a 0.5 m cable from emitter and receiver to the amplifier plus a 2 m cable. It takes 12 to 24 VDC ±10%, draws 30 mA max. on average, switches up to 100 mA and responds in 1 ms max. It is rated IP64 and weighs 76 g packaged; page 1 of the datasheet notes that it was discontinued at the end of September 2025.
