The OMRON E3Z-T81 2M is a compact through-beam photoelectric sensor with built-in amplifier from the E3Z series, supplied as an emitter and receiver set with 2 m pre-wired cables and a PNP output. It senses opaque objects of 12-mm dia. min. up to 15 m using an infrared LED (870 nm). It takes 12 to 24 VDC±10%, draws 35 mA max. (emitter 15 mA max., receiver 20 mA max.) and the open collector output switches up to 100 mA at 26.4 VDC max., with light-ON/dark-ON selection. The response time is 1 ms max., it is rated IP67 and weighs approx. 120 g packed.
