The Mitsubishi Electric HC-RP153 is a low-inertia, middle-capacity AC servo motor of the HC-RP series, used with MR-J3 servo amplifiers of the 200 size. It provides 1.5 kW rated output with 4.78 N·m rated torque and 11.9 N·m maximum torque, at a rated speed of 3000 r/min and a maximum speed of 4500 r/min. Rated current is 8.8 A and maximum current is 23 A, and the rotor moment of inertia is 1.9 x 10-4 kg·m2. Position feedback comes from an absolute/incremental encoder with 262144 pulse/rev, the totally-enclosed, natural-cooling frame is rated IP65 with insulation class 155(F) and an oil seal, and the motor weighs 5.0 kg.
