The ifm SBY234 (SBY34IF0FRKG) is a flow meter with fast response and display for liquids such as water, glycol solutions and coolants, measuring 1…50 l/min and medium temperature over -10…100 °C. ifm gives an accuracy of ±(4 % of the measured value + 1 % of the final value) above 1 l/min at 22 °C ± 4 K medium and operating temperature, a repeatability of ± 1 % of the final value and a response time of 0.01 s. The process connection is an Rp 3/4 internal thread, the pressure rating is 40 bar and the medium temperature range is -10…100 °C; ifm recommends 200 micron filtration. It has two switching outputs configurable as normally open or normally closed (150 mA each), a 4…20 mA analog output, a frequency output up to 10000 Hz and IO-Link, runs on 18…30 V DC, connects through an M12 connector (A-coded, 4 gold-plated contacts) and is rated IP65 and IP67 for 0…60 °C ambient.
