The Delta VFD185C43A-21 is a C2000 Plus series vector control AC motor drive for a 460 V 3-phase supply (380 to 480 VAC, 50/60 Hz), rated 38 A output current in heavy duty for motors up to 18.5 kW (25 HP), built in frame C. In super heavy duty it delivers 32 A for 15 kW (20 HP) motors, and heavy-duty overload is 150% of rated current for 1 minute in every 5 minutes and 180% for 3 seconds in every 30 seconds. A braking chopper is built in and a DC reactor is optional, as is the EMC filter. The -21 suffix marks an IP20 version with NEMA 1 protection, supplied with top cover and standard conduit plate. Version letter A denotes a wall-mount unit, and the drive is forced-air cooled.
