The Allen-Bradley 22-COMM-E is an EtherNet/IP communication adapter from Rockwell. It is the embedded EtherNet/IP communication option for PowerFlex 40 drives. It needs a communication adapter cover, ordered separately (22B-CCB for frame B or 22B-CCC for frame C), which adds 25 mm (0.98 in.) to the drive depth. It also fits the 22-XCOMM-DC-BASE external DSI communications kit, which connects up to 5 drives.
