The Allen-Bradley 1756-RM2 is a redundancy module for ControlLogix 5570 and 5580 from Rockwell's ControlLogix 1756 range. It is a single-slot redundancy module for ControlLogix 5570 and 5580 controllers, connected with 1756-RMC1, 1756-RMC3 or 1756-RMC10 cables (1, 3 or 10 m). A pair of redundancy modules with the same catalog number links the two chassis of a redundant controller pair; they monitor events in each chassis and start system responses as required. It installs in a 1756 ControlLogix chassis and takes one slot.
