The Allen-Bradley 1756-IA8DK is a ControlLogix 120V AC diagnostic input module for the 1756 chassis. It has eight diagnostic inputs in two groups of four for 120V AC signals, with an operating range of 79…132V AC at 47…63 Hz and input time stamps to ±200 µs. It draws 100 mA at 5.1V DC and 3 mA at 24V DC from the backplane. Field wiring goes through a 1756-TBNH or 1756-TBSH removable terminal block, which is ordered separately. This K version adds conformal coating for harsh, corrosive environments. ControlLogix I/O modules can sit in any slot of a local ControlLogix chassis or in a remote chassis linked over EtherNet/IP or ControlNet, and their input data and output status can be shared by more than one controller.
