The Allen-Bradley 1734-IK is a POINT I/O incremental encoder and counter module with 1 input group (A, B and Z with returns) for 15…24V DC signals. It counts at up to 1.0 MHz in counter and encoder X1 configurations and returns a 24-bit count; it draws 160 mA from the POINTBus. Like all POINT I/O modules, it plugs into a terminal base with a removable terminal block that carries the field wiring; the terminal base is not included and is ordered separately.
