The OMRON E3AS-HL500LMT M3 is a distance-settable reflective photoelectric sensor from the E3AS-HL series, using triangulation with a red laser line beam (660 nm, Class 1) and an M8 connector. It detects from 35 mm to the set distance, with a setting range of 35 to 500 mm, and the spot is 18 mm × 1.5 mm at a distance of 500 mm. It takes 10 to 30 VDC, draws 100 mA max. and has a PNP output with IO-Link COM3 (230.4 kbps), output 1 NO and output 2 NC, with a selectable response time of 1.5 ms, 10 ms or 50 ms. It has an OLED display and teach button and is rated IP67 and IP69K.
