The Mitsubishi Electric MR-J3-500B is a 5 kW MELSERVO J3 series servo amplifier with an SSCNET III fibre-optic interface for connection to a motion controller. The main circuit runs on 3-phase 200 to 230VAC, 50/60Hz, the control circuit on 1-phase 200 to 230VAC, and the interface needs a 24VDC supply. It uses sine-wave PWM current control, has a built-in dynamic brake and works with servo motor encoders of 262144 pulses/rev. Matching motors include HF-SP, HC-RP, HC-UP, HC-LP and HA-LP types, and the amplifier weighs 4.6 kg.
