The Mitsubishi Electric FR-A8NC is a plug-in option that adds a CC-Link interface to FR-A800 series inverters, letting a programmable controller run and monitor the drive as a remote device station. It is compatible with CC-Link Ver.1.10 and Ver.2; under Ver.2 it can use double, quadruple or octuple settings to enlarge the remote register area. Up to 42 inverters can be connected to one master station, and the transmission speed is selectable at 156 kbps, 625 kbps, 2.5 Mbps, 5 Mbps or 10 Mbps. The board fits with a one-touch connector, takes its power from the inverter and carries a built-in terminating resistor selection switch.
