The Mitsubishi Electric AL2-GSM-CAB is a modem cable for alpha2 series controllers that links the controller to a normal or GSM modem. Through a GSM modem it can send SMS messages to mobile phones and mail addresses, and through normal modems it supports remote monitoring and program transfer. With an adaptor cable it also allows RS-232C communication with a personal computer. The controller end fits into the expansion port cavity under the cover, and the modem end has a 9-pin D-Sub male connector.
