IFM IN507A Dual Inductive Sensor for Valve Actuators

The ifm IN507A (IND3004DBPKG/US/3D/3G) is a dual inductive sensor for valve actuators in a rectangular housing measuring 40 x 26 x 47 mm. Its rated sensing range is 4 mm. The operating distance on the target puck is 1 mm. Its two PNP switching outputs are normally open, rated at 100 mA and up to 1300 Hz on 10…30 V DC, with reverse polarity and short-circuit protection. On other metals the distance is reduced by ifm's correction factors: 0.7 for stainless steel, 0.5 for brass, 0.4 for aluminum and 0.3 for copper. The sensor has a PBT housing, connects through an M12 connector (A-coded, 4 contacts) and is rated IP67 for -20…60 °C ambient. ifm lists it for hazardous areas with ATEX marking II 3D Ex tc IIIC T80°C Dc (only in conjunction with the impact protective housing).
