The ifm IA5130 (IAE3010-BPKG/US-100/ANGLED) is an inductive proximity sensor in a smooth tubular Ø 20 mm housing 72 mm long, for non-flush mounting. Its rated sensing range is 10 mm. The real sensing range is 10 mm ± 10% and the operating distance on steel is 0…8.1 mm. The PNP switching output is normally open, rated at 250 mA and up to 300 Hz on 10…36 V DC, with reverse polarity and short-circuit protection. On other metals the distance is reduced by ifm's correction factors: 0.7 for stainless steel, 0.4 for brass, 0.3 for aluminum and 0.2 for copper. The sensor has a PBT housing, connects through an M12 connector (A-coded, 4 contacts) and is rated IP65 for -25…80 °C ambient. Supplied with one mounting clamp.
