The ifm I85009 (I8-3020-BPKG/DY/0,09M/US100DPS) is an inductive tube sensor in a rectangular housing measuring 70 x 20 x 12 mm. Parts passing through its opening are detected over a sensing range of up to 14 mm; ifm gives a resolution of a 3 mm steel ball, a maximum part speed of 25 m/s, a response time of under 0.2 ms and pulse stretching of 100 ms. The PNP switching output is normally open, rated at 200 mA on 10…35 V DC, with reverse polarity and short-circuit protection. The sensor has a PC housing, connects through an M12 connector (A-coded, 4 contacts) and is rated IP67 for -25…70 °C ambient. It has UL approval under file E174191. Supplied with two fixing straps.
