The ifm AL1332 (IO-Link Master DL EC 8P IP67) is an IO-Link master with an EtherCAT interface and 8 class A IO-Link ports. The Ethernet side supports 100Base-TX, and the fieldbus interface can be daisy-chained. ifm lists AoE (ADS over EtherCAT), CoE (CANopen over EtherCAT), EoE (Ethernet over EtherCAT) and FoE (File Access over EtherCAT). The ports work to IO-Link revision 1.1 with COM1, COM2 and COM3 transmission. They also provide 16 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs, with up to 300 mA per output and a total current load of up to 3.6 A. It runs on 20…30 V DC (US). The housing measures 208 x 59.3 x 38.4 mm and is made of orange PA, with nickel-plated brass sockets, for backplane mounting. It has two M12 connectors (D-coded, 4 contacts). It is rated IP65, IP66 and IP67, for -25…60 °C ambient.
