The Banner IM-T-9A is an IM-T series interface module that gives a primary safety device with external device monitoring (EDM), such as a safety light curtain or safety module, isolated safety output contacts for switching larger loads. It has three normally open output channels, each a series connection of contacts from two forced-guided relays and rated for up to 250 V AC at up to 6 A, plus normally closed feedback contacts for the EDM input of the controlling device. The module runs on 24 V DC ±15% and its outputs respond within 20 ms maximum. It comes in a 22.5 mm wide polycarbonate housing rated IP20 for 35 mm DIN rail mounting inside an enclosure, with plug-in terminal blocks and two green LEDs for K1 and K2 status, for an operating temperature of 0 °C to +50 °C.
