The Allen-Bradley VPL-B1152F-PK12AS is a Kinetix VPL low-inertia servo motor for 400 V-class drives in the 115 mm frame, rated 1.40 kW at 4000 rpm (maximum 4500 rpm) with 5.10 N·m continuous stall torque and 13.12 N·m peak stall torque. This version has an 18-bit absolute multi-turn digital encoder (Hiperface DSL), a smooth shaft, a single right-angle SpeedTec DIN connector that rotates through 325°, no holding brake, an IEC metric mounting flange and a shaft seal. With the shaft seal it reaches IP66 when used with Rockwell factory-delivered Kinetix 2090 cables. Rockwell matches VPL windings to Kinetix 5500 drives, Kinetix 5700 dual-axis inverters and ArmorKinetix DSD modules, with a single Kinetix 2090 cable between motor and drive, for packaging, converting, material handling, electronic assembly and automotive applications.
