The Allen-Bradley 20-750-S1 is a Safe Speed Monitor option module for PowerFlex 750-Series drives. It combines Safe Torque Off with integrated safety relay functions and safe speed monitoring, so speed can be safely controlled while operators work on the process without stopping the machine. It is rated Cat. 4 and PLe per EN ISO 13849-1 and SIL CL3 per IEC 61508 and EN 62061 and consumes 36 W. It needs the dual incremental encoder or universal feedback option, and Frame 8 and 9 drives also need the 20-750-EMCSSM1-F8 EMC option kit.
